几年后，随着一场不成功的婚姻的结束和我商业上的奋斗，我发现自己的事业终于有些起色。然而，接下来发生了泡沫和911噩梦。那时我们的国家领导们决定把所有的航线都停飞，而且不知何时可以重回运行；随后很久一段时间，“重点”区域比如旧金山处于数月的安全警告期（航空和地面运输受政府限制）。这让我联络客户的费用极大上升。讽刺的是，他们在做了这么多之后，政府用以数以十亿美元计的我们的纳税来补贴航空公司（因为交通限令亏损）。。。 和往常一样，他们（政府）让我腐烂和死亡，却用我的钱来救助那些富有的却缺乏竞争力的他们的“老伙计”！所有这些不幸的事件之后，我的事业没了，只剩下一些退休金和储蓄。
那时，我想着也许该换个环境了。再见了加州，我要去奥斯汀（德州首府）试试运气。然后我搬到了奥斯汀，却发现这是个人人自我感觉过好却少有人脚踏实地做工程的地方。我在寻找工作上从来没遇到过如此艰难的时刻。薪水只有经济着陆前的三分之一，因为薪酬被3到4家这里的大公司所把持，而他们在不断降薪恶性竞争 。。。 这种事情发生和司法机关不无关系，司法机关根本不管P民死活，只在乎他们自己和他们“老伙计”的利益。
为了生存，我不得不靠储蓄和过早消耗退休金度日，结果个人退休储蓄账户里的钱越来越少。这一年里，经营的开销巨大，收入却是零。那年我没填退税表，我觉得没必要，因为我的收入是零。然而差劲的政府却不同意。但是他们却没有及时通知我以便让我能够及时通过法律手段辩护，当我试图通过法律申诉时已经太晚，法庭告诉我已经过了申诉期。“正义”让我损失了1万元（罚金）。
然后到了现在。有了和注册会计师打交道的经验，在那次商业低谷后我发誓再也不进会计师的办公室。于是我有了新的婚姻，很多笔灰色收入，更别提一大笔新的商业资产和一部钢琴（虽然我不知道怎么弹）。仔细考虑之后，我觉得有责任去寻求一下专业的法律帮助。这后来成为一个极大的错误。
当我们收到税表时我很乐观地相信一切尽在把握。我把我这些年的信息都给了律师比尔·罗斯，比尔帮我填完了表格，结果和我期待的很接近。尽管他忘了把舍利（人名，可能是斯塔克的妻子）没汇报的一笔收入加进去，那笔钱有12700美元。更糟糕的是，他（律师比尔）一直知道这笔未报的收入，却直到东窗事发后的听证会上才指出来。而他听证会上的表现像是在为他自己辩护而不是为我辩护。
这让我被置于灾难的中央，逼迫我为和税收根本无关的交易辩护，为那些我根本不知道和我太太认为根本不重要的事情辩护。结果就是 。。。 看看周围吧。
我记得曾读到，在（30年代的）大萧条前股票大跌时那些富有的银行家和商人因为一无所有而跳楼的事情。讽刺的是，60年后，在这个国家，银行家和商人找到了如何解决经济问题的方法；他们从中产阶级那里偷窃（然而中产阶级却蒙在鼓里，选举是个笑话）以解决他们的经济危机。当富人们把事情搞砸时，穷人却要为富人的错误去死 。。。 （对富人来说）这难道不是个聪明又漂亮的解决方案吗？
谈到政府机构，联邦航空局基本上是个效率极其低下的墓碑机构（不出人命根本不屌你P民），但航空局绝不是唯一的例子。最近的木偶总统乔治布什和他的“老伙计”在其执政8年里无疑让我们相信了这种批评适合所有的政府部门。它们不会做改变，除非出了人命或者政府里的人利益受到威胁。在这个从上到下伪善绝顶的政府里，P民的人命不值几个钱，它们的谎言和自利的法律也一样廉价。
我知道，我绝对不是第一个无法忍受这一切的人。我无法理解，在这个国家为什么民众不愿再为自己的自由而献身，我说的民众不仅仅限于黑人和贫穷的移民们。我知道，在我之前有无数人为此而死，而我之后也会涌现更多。但是，我想说的是，如果我的生命不能作为“计数”的一个的话，我敢肯定丑陋的事情不会改变。我选择不再对“老大哥”的扒皮抽骨熟视无睹，我选择不再忽略周围发生的事情，我选择不再假装事情可以继续下去。我受够了。
我希望数字（像我这样的人的数量）越来越大以至于不能被粉饰掉，以至于唤醒那些沉睡的美国僵尸（麻木的民众）起来暴动；它会席卷一切。我希望我的行为不可避免地触动政府作出双重标准的、下意识的反应，这个反应就是他们推出更多更愚蠢更苛刻的对民众自由的限制 … 这些限制会惊醒人民，让他们看清楚这些高傲的政治暴徒极其走狗的本质。可悲的是，虽然我耗尽此生努力相信暴力可以避免，但我终于醒悟，暴力不只是答案，暴力是唯一的答案。在这个残酷的笑话里，高高在上的那堆屎们一直知道真相，却始终利用真相来愚弄和嘲笑我们这群愚昧的P民。
我曾经读过，荒唐，就是重复同样的无意义的过程一遍又一遍，却期待突然能有个好结果。我不要再痴迷于这种荒唐。是的，国税局“老大哥”们，让我们玩点儿新花样：收下我这磅肉，然后去死吧！（暗指飞机撞大楼的自杀攻击）。

If you’re reading this； you’re no doubt asking yourself； “Why did this have to happen？” The simple truth is that it is plicated and has been ing for a long time。 The writing process； started many months ago； was intended to be therapy in the face of the looming realization that there isn’t enough therapy in the world that can fix what is really broken。 Needless to say； this rant could fill volumes with example after example if I would let it。 I find the process of writing it frustrating； tedious； and probably pointless… especially given my gross inability to gracefully articulate my thoughts in light of the storm raging in my head。 Exactly what is therapeutic about that I’m not sure； but desperate times call for desperate measures。
We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society； only anarchy。 Sadly； starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that； in return for our dedication and service； our government stands for justice for all。 We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place； and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers。 Remember？ One of these was “no taxation without representation”。 I have spent the total years of my adulthood unlearning that crap from only a few years of my childhood。 These days anyone who really stands up for that principal is promptly labeled a “crackpot”； traitor and worse。
While very few working people would say they haven’t had their fair share of taxes （as can I）； in my lifetime I can say with a great degree of certainty that there has never been a politician cast a vote on any matter with the likes of me or my interests in mind。 Nor； for that matter； are they the least bit interested in me or anything I have to say。
Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can mit unthinkable atrocities （and in the case of the GM executives； for scores of years） and when it’s time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity； the force of the full federal government has no difficulty ing to their aid within days if not hours？ Yet at the same time； the joke we call the American medical system； including the drug and insurance panies； are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple； and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile； rich cronies。 Yet； the political “representatives” （thieves； liars； and self…serving scumbags is far more accurate） have endless time to sit a
